Poland flag consists of two horizontal lines with the same width, the upper white and the lower red. The two colors are defined in the Polish constitution as the color red nasional.Putih and officially adopted as national colors in 1831. It was based on the tinctures (colors) of a typical two-state emblem constituents Poland-Lithuanian Commonwealth, ie the White Eagle of Poland and the Pursuer of Lithuania, a white knight riding a white horse complete with a red shield. Prior to that, Polish soldiers wore various color combinations. The national flag was officially adopted in 1919. Since 2004, Poland Flag day is celebrated on May 2.
